Icebergs are melting, Atolls are sinking, Volcanoes are erupting and Tidal Waves Splahes...

One may ask a question of where we'll be in 50 years time??? The Government is continuing to advocate the impacts of climate change and sea level rising to Kiribati and its people at international conferences. However, you and I what we have done to support our Government's appeal to the international community.

Atolls to sink in the near future is a great challenge to Governments and a threat to its citizens...

What can we do??? I believe it is about time for the Government to challenge the International Community for the damages and destructions caused by the impacts of climate change and sea level rising...

It is very convincing for us at national level to have mechanisms in place such as legislations to regulate activities that can have impacts to environments and contribute to climate change and sea level rising.

I believe the international community will act if you and I start to take initiative at national level, therefore I would suggest to work hand in hand to Kick the Carbon Habit.

All your thoughts are greatly appreciated...

If we read the latest news... we will notice how complex the Climate Change Issue really is...
We need to keep an open mind as the argument is still raging on this complex issue.

absolutely....too late to adapt....too late to mitigate....the only option we have as vulnerable islands to climate change is to find somewhere else to live....i understand that this disgrace our culture, social values etc but if u want yr children to experience this world pleasure, u have to commit yrself to move forward......I've done my research on climate change impacts and major pollutants nations have done their best for us but that not enough.....thanx to our current government for a wonderful plan based on evacuation rather than acting against this major issue.
we got a new site we can share CC impacts with the rest of the world. please join us by following this link if u interested. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=119976374691244&v=wall&am...!/group.php?gid=119976374691244&v=wall
