Guys, I need your help with this Toshiba Satellite Pro A100- model PSAAAA-007003-

I was given this computer by an AG church pastor to fix but finds it difficult...my problem now is everytime I turn on this laptop, I am blocked with the HDD PASSWORD at boot. I have even asked the owner to get into his own computer but still could not pass. I read through a couple of sites and some mentioned that computers could sometimes endup like that- with boot password, etc.....I have bypassed a couple of computers, but with this laptop....I really need your help. This laptop contains Bible translations that needs to be completed in time!!!

Is there anyway I could bypass? My OS is WinXP SP2.
Ia ongora iroumi!!!

Ma tiku nam step anne ao karina am HDD drive inanon am laptop tray, ao ae napon automatically karoia tapeuva pai I pukim, BUT, oki nakon am choices riki as mentioned before, ao ngkai rinea te field ae (AUTO)

Ao nako nam SECURITY department ao ian te choice ae (HDD Password), karina am password ae pou ma uringa n koreia ke uringa as u will need that later.

I mina ao KITANA(EXIT) te BIOS setup ao SAVE am changes and U MUST REBOOT am laptop

After te reboot ao ae kona noria am PASSWORD arre ko karina, so koakona n enter nam document, ma its better ko run the BIOS set up riki ao kanakoa te HDD password mein am system, to make life easier in the future ma am laptop anne.

Taiaoka Tero, ko taetae moa iaon te Laptop Toshiba model ane n au title? Because as I know you have choices on desktop and tower.....but not sure yet with this Toshiba model as Hard Disk Drive is not lighted at all for choices.

What I did.....boot up laptop, press F2 to enter setup, on the Bios setup I could see Time/date and Hard disk drive and CD Rom Drive, etc. Date and time are both highlighted meaning I could change the figures, with HDD, I cannot. If I did anything wrong, please advice and again thanks alot and looking forward
STU...tai kamaraka atuum anne ma just kata arre ko kona, as that sort of problem arre ai pon ana pai te IMB system n protect te computer from hijackers keer, ma eang, I hate Toshiba napa Hahaha LOL!!! I like Mac and Dell brands...so did you try to reboot it by pressing F12 and to look up the setting by pressing F2 and still can't find that AUTO choice? that sucks man. Ma taraia, tai give up kee, as I haven't done that with Toshiba either. I lost my password once napa, well I 4got it right after I created one hahahah and so I have to get in back and the steps works for me, but I think that if only u can get to that AUTO tool that something might just worked out afterall, but mmmmm none of my friends even have the Toshiba brand laptop as most of them have Mac and Dell-Desktop, so I wish I had one so I can play around it looking for a way to get to the AUTO choice, as that is the part that will do some important steps for u b4 u can re-enter a new password. Hey STU, I will try and see if a friend of mind working with computers will willing to share some tips, but can't lean on that as for a fact will happen but in the mean time, I wonder if that Toshiba of yours has been updated or not yet, as I know also that if it hasn't that it may also help to go to the support site for Toshiba NoteBooks and update it and see if that helps in finding that AUTO tool...Its just my other thought. IBM system for the computer security exist only for one reason, and that is to protect laptops form being stolen..am afraid that sometimes if all fails, they will want you to buy a new chips now, but I will keep u in my prayers that either way, that laptop get back to work again...some way, some how, am crossing my fingers and hope for the best for u and that TOSHIBA THANG !!! LOL!!!

I'll get to you if there are any tips...........

Erapzzz
