Anyone know or remember their best or most liked traditional Kiribati dish which is starting to fate away or rarely been cooked nowadays, which your mother or your grannys am sure cooked for you in some early states of your life. Think about it, I just couldn't take rice anymore...happy day peepz

There's heaps of traditional dishes that seemed to be intentionally fate away due to laziness and the heavy reliance on imported foods:

E ngaa ngkai matan te Kabwibwi ni bakoa ao te kabubu served with te karuoruo.....this is one of my best breakfast meal I used to have on one of my home islands.

Okay tiaki ngai te I-Kiribati ma te I-Matang ae Peace Corps in Arorae mai 2000-2002. Te traditional food ae I rangi ni miss bon te tou ae kaboroaki n te ran ni ben!!!!
Tabeua aikai amwarake aika i mamateakin... Te turoro ni bwabwai, ma te taari n ika.... Te tongo n amakai ma te taari n ikarii.... e rang nakoraoi ma karuoana are te tarimaau.....
