Remembering back to form 1 in 1996...there was the transports...eang, the buses and trucks which we used to have for transportation to and from school; the computers which we thot to be the most advanced technology in time. we would rush from the prior period just to get a computer which you would "share" with others...e bo te kuri to have a comp...ti kaawa nae kee..and of course we didnt know wat "internet" was; Then there were wednesdays...private day...i remember stressing with my friends on wat we were to wear...yes sometimes matching.hahaha!; The uncountable but most enjoyable dances...held in the tennis court or hall under the bright lights under strict entrance of proper dressing...you had to go through a screening of dress code (if we had a slit it would be stapled together.lol.); Then there was our squad..our beloved MHS squad with its trainings after school. The squad would be chased by our coaches Maereiti and Peter with their slippers and sticks if we slacked down, and at squad dorms, there were the count down of seconds if we were too slow to eat during meal time so we had to rush and finish our food, lol, bon te military naba teuana......not forgetting my loving red power Brigham Young house...man after we had done our events we would run back to the stadium just to lead our house with the cheers...yea dance infront like crazee ppl...i remember clearly me, kathy, takeiti and the rest of our wild friends then...hahaha....i dont think anyone ever beat BY in enthusiasm...sorry guys i know am bias...hehe....then of course there were other xtra-curricular activities which went on in school...MHS Titanic team which was the best back in the days..lol...the bball team which would always get beaten by Taborio..hehe...The netball which never worked out, Lambada, disco, speeches esetera esetera...The duty during assembly when all forms had to lead the whole school assembly...man i remember kids mocking the hell of me when i spoke...snake was wat they used to say...hahaha...thanks to the many friends who i call brothers and sisters in school for all the joy and many lessons which have helped made me the person i am today....students these days should be very grateful as they are priviledged to be a moroni student. There are many changes to the school and of course upgrading. honestly, get out there and have fun, grab on to every opportunity presented to you, show your true colors and lift moroni's name.... High school was the highlight of my life...remembering back just puts a smile on my face..and am proud to be a MORONEXIAN...
