JSS girl and a drunk guy (Fact and annoying)

It was just two days ago when my sister and I, through our window, saw a young girl sitting on our well near the road. A few minutes later we saw a young guy walking along the road opposite side. He seemed to be eyeing the young girl when he suddenly changed his route and headed towards her. He just sat next to her with no care, oh man we could smell his fresh scent aroma of sour toddy. The girl however got up and stood a few distance away from him. We heard him mumble a question as to what her name was and where she was staying, she replied giving him the right answers. My sister and I felt the girl needed to get away from the drunk so we tried to figure a way to save her from the young mans flirtatious approach.

Just as we were about to call her into our home, we noticed a different body language between the two. The young girl didn't seem scared and she was sitting next to the gentleman (or should I say horny drunk ratbag). We had second thoughts of calling her inside so we decided to just leave them be, for sure the girl was looking forward to have a relationship with the guy she just met on our well (hehehe).

Then in about 15 minutes I went out through the backdoor to get something from the store. Due to my surprise as I reached the roadside, I saw the two hugging and kissing between our hibiscus bush and our front door. I hurriedly bought the stuff from the store then went back inside the house again through the back door. I rushed to my older sister and told her what was going on in front of our home. We went outside and stood at the edge of the house, we stared at the two kissing away. Our neighbors also saw them so they joined us, a group of kids along with our nieces and nephews came to get a glimpse too lol.

I was so frustrated with the girl because she had just met the guy who happened to be drunk and 8 years older than her...still she was kissing the guy...I mean what parent would want a daughter schooling in JSS make out with a ratbag who she barely knows...ugh I was so pissed that I said in a bold and high toned voice, "WOW people just make out in front of peoples houses, how would they feel if we made out in front of their kids and family?" Our neighbors were laughing at the sight while more kids came to watch the two.

After a few minutes of hugging and kissing, the two noticed that we were watching them, they embarrassingly and angrily walked away. They then headed towards the small bushes near the beach where the fishermen kept their boats....huh they were not satisfied so they went to a place where we could not see them.

No offence to the kissing and hugging thing...it's just the age difference between the two and the insecurity of the young girl. She just went with the flow and made out with a total drunk stranger...hell we knew what was going to happen in the bushes...we just shook our heads and felt sorry for the girl and her parents. This might be happening often in our small country without us knowing, our youngsters are just playing us as fools doing things beyound their boundaries, behind our backs they smoke, drink alcohol and have sex.

The girl must've got carried away just by sitting on top the well, which I suppose should have fell, so she'd never get a chance of being abused by the ratbag which in fact she did. Perhaps you could have breathed in a little sense of self into the two. Well cant say much about them since it is evident that its love at first sight. hehehehe crazy somehow.

True we do not want our daughters to act and do things like the girl in my blog did...it is just not right. Guys like the horny ratbag are all over Kiribati, it's hard to fight the right guy for our daughters these days.

So what should we do to prevent these kind of things? I'm not sure....I don't think expelling our children is not the right thing to do...maybe giving them a slap might work. I reckon if one of your daughters happen to end up eloping with the type of guy you simply do not approve of, you should take them both under your care and STILL RAISE them both with DISCIPLINE. Show them respect so they can respect you back and respect their owns elves too.

I'm not really sure how these issues can be handled...my older sister has eloped and married ratbags and she's got 2 kids, one is about to come out of her belly. My parents still take her and her husbands under care, whatever my sister does, my parents and the rest of our family will always be here for her especially for her kids.

There's so much I have to say about her but I'm afraid I have to stop here otherwise I'd be invading her private life and exposing it to the whole KOC members...shame on me
